In the heart of the green Provence

A restaurant with character in Lorgues, among the vines and villages of the Var

The Var is far more than its coastline. Here, inland, among the vines of the Côtes de Provence and the hilltop villages, Carnets de Voyage opens the doors of a house built in 1780.

You lunch beneath the plane trees, you dine in a hidden garden: the setting of a true Provençal restaurant, with a refined table and a warm atmosphere — rated 4.7/5 across more than 610 reviews.

On the plate

France & World fusion cuisine, homemade

We start from local, seasonal produce — that of the Var and Provence — then slip in a twist from elsewhere: a spice, a technique, an unexpected pairing. The anchor stays French, the journey lands on the plate.

We cook on site and the menu changes every week. And for lovers of the classics, there's always a fine butcher's cut: nobody leaves hungry.

See how our fusion cuisine in Lorgues brings France and the World together on the plate.

Village by village

The inland Var, from one village to the next

The Var we love fits into a small radius around Lorgues: hilltop villages, Côtes de Provence estates, a Cistercian abbey and terracotta workshops. Our 1780 house, on avenue Allongue, is where it all meets — the place where the day ends at the table.

Every town has its own character and its own good reason to come this far: after the sightseeing, after the market, after a morning spent among the vines. Pick yours, and we will tell you the way from your doorstep.
